Teriyaki Malarkey
Tofu Stir-Fry

A Tofu malarkey with a deliciously healthy take on Teriyaki

I’m not vegan or vegetarian, but I love this dish, even without meat or fish… It’s simple, packed with flavour – whilst cooking it smells divine, drawing the family to the dinner line.

  • Drain and remove tofu from packaging before slicing into 1 cm pieces
  • Place tofu slices onto a layer of kitchen roll, put another piece of kitchen roll on top and then a small plate to help squeeze out excess water – this makes sure your tofu crisps in the pan!
  • Preheat wok/ frying pan to medium-high heat- with oil
  • Meanwhile prepare the vegetables as you wish – save time with long slices 
  • Place tofu into the frying pan and fry until starting to brown
  • Add boiling water to noodles in a bowl (leave covered for 2 mins) to half cook
  • Add vegetables and Teriyaki Malarkey sauce, cook for 5-8 minutes stirring often
  • Drain noodles and through into mix – stir through for 2 mins
  • Remove pan from the heat and serve


  • 1 bottle of Tanya's Just Real Teriyaki Malarkey
  • 1tsp rapeseed oil
  • 1tsp sesame oil (optional)
  • tofu
  • cabbage
  • mushrooms
  • peppers
  • egg noodles
