Smoked Cod

Beetroot in delicious cahoots with cod, full on flavour with a healthy nod

I’m not a huge fan of cod – as fish goes I find it rather bland, however this makes it’s large & lean flakes a perfect canvas for a coating of Beetroot Cahoot. Transforming an ordinary fish to an extraordinary dish.

INSTRUCTIONS

SERVES 2

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees
  • Place the cod into an oven proof dish smother with Beetroot Cahoot Sauce
  • Turn and pour more Sauce on top
  • Cover the dish with foil and place in the oven for 20-25minutes
  • Prepare mashed potato and peas as desired
  • When the fish is cooked remove from the oven
  • Serve on top of mashed potato and peas
  • Season as you wish

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 bottle Tanya's Just Real Beetroot Cahoot
  • 2 (or 1 large) smoked cod fillets (you can also use cod)
  • peas
  • mashed potatoes
